Gilbert Ghostine has been appointed chief executive officer of Firmenich. He succeeds Patrick Firmenich. Ghostine most recently served as president, Asia Pacific at Diageo, a global premium drinks company. Firmenich announced his desire to hand over his current position while taking on increased responsibilities at the Board level. To ensure a smooth transition, he will assist Ghostine through to the end of January 2015, while taking on his new role as vice chairman of the board.
